This collection of images tells the story of the capture of Demeters' daughter Koré by Hades and her transformation into Persephone the Destroyer, Queen of the Underworld.
We also see the struggles and emotional breakdown her mother Demeter goes through, including her anger which will lead to depriving the humans of the harvest, and finally, after Zeus and Hades confide, a deal is made, Persephone is reunited with Demeter ...for a few months of each year and hence, the seasons..
